If you are heading up towards Amish country in Pennsylvania you need to make sure you make time for Hershey Park. This city that is great for year round vacations offers all kinds of activities for families that are just a lot of fun. When you are in Hershey, Pennsylvania, you will be able to enjoy it all no matter what your age.

Hersheypark is the best family amusement park, or so voters say. The rides, attractions, and games are a lot of fun and designed specifically for families. This theme park has more than 60 rides from roller coasters to family rides and kid rides to water rides.

Hersheypark opens for a few days in May and September and is open full time in June, July and August. The price for Hersheypark also includes ZooAmerica entrance, so keep that in mind. Fun times to visit the park include October for Halloween thrills and December for the Christmas Candylane.

The Town That Chocolate Built.

The town of Hershey in Pennsylvania owes its entire existence to chocolate. It was built by Milton Hershey to house his workers close to what was then the biggest chocolate factory in the world. Completed in 1905, the revolutionary factory produced milk chocolate bars, which until then were only available as luxury Swiss imports, and became the first product to be marketed nationally throughout the USA.

Because of his Mennonite background, as well as producing the world’s best chocolate, Hershey also had an overwhelming desire to build a model town around his factory. He wanted to afford his employees comfortable homes, inexpensive transport, education for their children, and recreational facilities, like many chocolate manufacturers of his time.

Hershey’s Hotel in Pennsylvania

Hershey’s hotels are all over Pennsylvania. The creator of this is the famous Milton S. Hershey. He was a person who had dreamed to live a life in a perfect town. This is the same reason why he had created Hershey’s hotels and resorts. This is a perfect destination that offers a very comfortable and relaxing feel, great food and exciting recreational activities. Milton S. Hershey has created a chocolate world in Pennsylvania. Here are some of them.

Hershey Days Inn is located in the West Chocolate Avenue. This is the closest to the Hershey hotel to the Hershey Park. They have recently introduced the Hershey Park Shuttle Bus which tours guests all over the park for a quick overview. This is free of charge during park hours.

Hershey Days Inn is a pet-friendly hotel. It is a four storey building.

When was the last time you visited Canada? It is a large and very nice country indeed. A long time ago I had the chance to visit Banff Springs Hotel. Nestled in the Canadian Rockies is a beautiful hotel that tourists from all over the globe flock to.

It’s the ideal location for holding a wedding and ideal for a couple looking for some exceptional away time. It’s the Banff Springs Hotel and if you love the crisp Canadian air, you’ll take pleasure in spending a weekend lapping up the luxury of this northern treasure.

The hotel itself is located in one of Canada’s most magnificent national parks. It’s also near the resort town of Banff, which is a very nice town by the way. For the persons who live in Alberta, the Banf fSprings Hotel is known as much as a tourist place to visit as it’s a site we love to go to. It’s only a few hours drive from almost anywhere in the province and once you get there the staff treats you like royalty.
